The Best Published Accounts Awards was launched by PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1998 to recognise efforts made by companies in improving the presentation and contents of their published accounts.
The aim of the event is to encourage greater transparency, increased information to shareholders and to the public at large, and better layout.
The Categories:
Our Categories this year ran primarily along capitalisations on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius. Award are breakdown as follows:
CATEGORY 1: SEM7 companies
CATEGORY 2: Other listed companies
CATEGORY 3: DEM
CATEGORY 4: Investment Funds
CATEGORY 5: Parastatals
